Last week was an incredible, incredibly busy week!
Wednesday, we had a benefit concert for Mariann, a girl challenged with Spina Bifida. It was a huge success!
A couple of hours before the show we got a SURPRISE phone call from Benji Schwimmer. He is Mariann's idol and we had invited him out about a month prior to the concert. At the time, he told us he would try to get here, but we were never sure and hadn't heard from him since. Well, he ended up driving all the way from LA on 3 hours of sleep just to be there!
We successfully hid him away until after Mariann had performed her solo. Then we announced him and he came out and danced impromptu with Mariann to Jason Mraz "I'm Yours" (acoustic version). It was the most beautiful and touching thing ever!
The entire concert was amazing! The girls did such a wonderful job, and we left the night on Cloud 9 that carried us through the weekend. It was just incredible to be part of!
