We had a fun break from school this last weekend. The Isom's from St George came up and stayed with us. It had been a long time since I had seen them...(Averie was newborn)and it was fun to hang out with them again! On Thursday, we went to Lagoon and had a fabulous time! I don't know why anyone would go in the summertime, it was perfect weather and not crowded at all. Averie is getting braver each time we hit up an amusement park, Alyssa is always a daredevil, and even Brooks liked the rides "that made his tummy sick". At the end of our day, we watched the hypnotist show, Bevan and Mike went up to see if they could be hypnotized but it was unsuccessful for them. For those who it worked for, it was a riot. We laughed, and even Brooks thought it was funny. On Friday, we took a trip to Thanksgiving Point-the Dinosaur Museum and Cornbelly's. Saturday, we split up girls/guys and the girls headed out for a quick shopping trip, then to Thriller (Alyssa performed) and then to Hard Rock Cafe for fun lunch with friends (moms/daughters) from our ward who came to see Thriller with us. The guys played some football, went to Kangaroo Zoo and then came home for some UFC entertainment. Sunday, the Isom's went home and Alyssa enjoyed her first day of Young Women's. Needless to say, when Monday got here, we were ready to just relax! It was a fun Fall Break...
