Well, after a LONG weekend of waiting, Alyssa has had a very good week so far. First, she is running for Studentbody President, and found out yesterday that she has made it through the primary's! So now, we have to work on a skit, a speech, a classroom speech, a morning announcement, and posters...even with all this to do, she is very excited and I will keep you posted on the results! And second, she auditioned for Chucky for Odyssey's Thriller (see www.odysseydance.com) which will be playing in Provo, St George, Ogden, Logan, and Kingsbury Hall. There are usually about 50 kids who show up to audition for the 33 parts. This year there were 110! It was crazy! We found out this morning that she got cast! Last year she worked as an understudy, and ended up with one performance. This year she should have about six. I will let everyone know when those are, in case you want to come! It is a FUN show, and usually sells out! So CONGRATULATIONS to Lyss, hope her luck keeps up until the end of the week for the final elections!! Regardless, she is still TOPS around here!
PS...Thought it would be fun to post a couple pics of her posters, and the other picture is Alyssa and two friends last year as Chucky!
